From The Directors:
We hope everyone enjoyed themselves at the holiday gathering. Thanks go out to The American Legion for the Hall, Eden Meat Market & Catering for the Meal, Tod & Christine for handling the finances, Mary & Lynn for taking all the pictures, Leo & Linda for the entertainment and all the members who attended for all the fun. The food drive was very successful, the Fondy Food Pantry sent the chapter a thank you letter. We hope everyone had a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year. We have another year in the books for Chapter C. We had a change in the staff for Chapter C in 2017. And now we have changes for GWRRA in 2018. We no longer have the Regions level and members in those positions. We no longer have a Rider Educator at the chapter level. This position was changed to a Ride Coordinator. Bill & Mervi will stay on as Chapter C’s Ride Coordinator and keep as informed with safety & riding information. We have completed the calendar for 2018. It is similar to 2017 calendar except more emphases on riding. We added afternoon rides after the breakfast socials. The one ride we had in 2017 after a social was well attended.
Thanks and more to come next month.
Ride Smart & Be Safe!
Thank You, every one for the help and support.

Rider Education: Jan. 2018
Well, another year of riding has gone by and there have been quite a lot of changes to our Gold Wing Association throughout the 2017-year. You know, change is one of those things that they always tell us is just part of a growing process. Sometimes this is acceptable, sometimes it is not. Still, change is something that will always happen and it is an inherent process to HELP all of us to move forward. Even thou the position of the Chapter Educator has been removed, RiderEd is still an active part of GWRRA. The Levels of 1-4 have always been strong within our safety training program and will still remain available to ALL of our Members, as well as all the Rider Skill Courses & training updates that are also encouraged of our Members. There are also the RiderEd Seminar modules that are being updated by both of our GWRRA Leadership & RiderEd Teams and will be introduced as they continue to become available throughout the year.
As we ride through another year of motorcycling let us strive to keep strong in our Gold Wing Motto of: FRIENDS for FUN, SAFETY & KNOWLEDGE, remembering that Rider Education, Safe riding and Motorist Awareness ALL go hand-in-hand, whatever the season, whether we’re on our bikes or driving our vehicles. Look Twice, even Three times. During this coming year please be careful, and SAFE.
