Chapter M Newsletter May 2018

Chapter Social Date: Saturday May 12th at Team Motorsports  at  9:00am. The address is 1890Mid Valley Drive in De Pere, WI. They are having their open house that day, and so we are also having our bake sale. We will make a couple bucks for the chapter, and get an opportunity to talk to new people.

We could use some baked goods for the sale, and also some help selling and handing out literature. Ila will be arranging this, so call her at 920-432-6627, or

email her at   Two-on3@new.rr.com    if you have questions. It will be very much like it was last year for those of you that participated. I have a commitment to go to the 1800Riders spring get together, so I will be down in the Dells. Too many things to do sometimes. We will be setting up for the sale at 8:45 if you would be coming to do that.

The other activity we have this month is our maintenance day, it is what we call Maintenance Day. It is being held at my place in Winneconne, Address is 5747 State Road 116, just north of County Road D. There is construction in Winneconne, and also Omro, but you can get through. Just follow the detours when you get to town. Out of town, they try to route you through Oshkosh, don't do it. Just go like you normally would and make your way through town. So I'll be up and around at 7:00. I think we said start was 8:00, but if your up, come on over.

The idea of maintenance day is to give people a place to take care of the things they would like to at the beginning of the season, and later eat. Cause we like to eat and socialize too. I will help however I can, and I'm sure a couple others will be here that are willing to help too. The intent is for you to do your maintenance with a support team. And a place to do it. Bring an air filter or oil and an oil filter, or a couple people are doing timing belts, whatever you want to tackle. Maybe you want to wire in a GPS, or some new lights.

Then at 1:00 there is a pot luck. I will supply burgers and brats, you bring a dish to pass.

On May 18th – 19h., we have Dust off. It is a district gathering at the Glacier Valley Campground, Cambria, WI (map) I have 2 sites reserved for us for Friday and Saturday nights, so come down and camp!
