From the Director:

Hello, well I think spring is finally here!  Unbelievable the amount of snow and cold we got in April!  Our snow birds have arrived and are ready to start riding.

Chapter Q had another successful fund raiser with even more great food and desserts than last year!  Several chapters were able to come by bike a little chilled but happy to be on their bikes.  We raffled several nice gift baskets, gift cards, and a set of new Bridgestone tires.  I want to again thank all the members of Chapter Q who helped organize, setup, and do the dreaded cleanup for our event.  I also want to thank all the other chapter members for braving the chilly weather who attended our fud raiser.  It’s always good to fellowship with other motorcycle enthusiasts!

Saturday, some of the chapter members and myself are headed to Chapter E’s fund raiser to share some brats and good fellowship.  We will then head to Billy Bob’s restaurant to hold our May social and enjoy the company of current and new members.  The Windmill known for its wonderful ice cream is just down the road so I’m sure we will all stop for a cone.

On May 19th a group of us will leave for our week trip to Williamstown Kentucky where we will see many fascinating attractions which will include the Ark, the Creation Museum, Stargazer’s Planetarium along with attractions in the Cincinnati area.  Be sure to check our Facebook page as we will post lots of pictures and information that we see and do during our adventure.  Remember to also check out our Facebook page for updates of our event calendar which will provide departure locations, times, hotel reservation info for our upcoming rides, day rides, and the remainder of our socials.

For those who are not headed to Kentucky, remember “Dust Off” is May 18th and 19th in Cambria, WI.  Lou Larson from Chapter Q will be there breaking in his new camper enjoying everyone’s company and fun times.

Kim and I are excited seeing all our current members back together and look forward to meeting new members in Chapter Q and the other GWRRA chapters.  I hope to see everyone at the next event.  Take care.
